Nicolas Lejeune

Nicolas studied civil engineering, specialising in electronics, and then another year at the HEC business school in Paris. In 2022, he joined our team as Product Owner (project manager).

Nicolas' role within our company is to listen to our customers' ideas and pass them on to our developers in a clear and precise way, so that they can develop the ideal solution. He supports and advises our customers during the implementation of their projects.

I love the contact with colleagues, but definitely also with customers. It's fun to meet people from different backgrounds. What I also really like about my job is the satisfaction you get when you go from a client's idea to a completed project.

What's your favourite type of project?

ERP projects: you have to understand the processes and the customer's needs really well in order to develop a solution that perfectly meets their requirements! And in some cases it's quite complex, so it's quite a challenge!

Is there a project that has stood out for you since you joined Deuse?

The CHC Montlégia project, which involved creating a day/attendance rota for the radiology department. You don't think about how many rules there are and how complex it is to create a fair roster for everyone, taking into account their holidays, availability/unavailability, time off for on-call shifts to recover, and so on. We have created a very finished product that I hope will make their lives easier!

What do you enjoy about your work?

What I like most is the creativity that my work entails. Of course, the customer tells us what he would like to see in his project, but we have to make it all come true. And as Product Owner, I have the opportunity to imagine the application the customer wants and the processes, while letting my creativity run wild.
