The best moment? When a client trusts us to bring their idea to life, even before they’ve seen anything from us.

To find out more Thomas, here’s some more information about him

Do you have a favourite type of project?

Mobile applications. You can use them everywhere — at work and in your free time. I also enjoy testing them outside working hours. That was the case with Trenara, an app I already used before I started working on it. I feel more connected to mobile apps than web applications. And since they’re often B2C, that makes them even more interesting to me.

What's your biggest challenge when selling a project to a customer?

Gaining the client’s trust is always a key challenge. Clients usually come to us with an idea, but often don’t yet know how it should be developed. It’s up to us to prove — before they’ve seen or tried anything — that we have the skills and expertise to turn their vision into a high-quality result, within budget and timeline. That takes not only technical know-how, but also a lot of empathy and communication skills.

What project are you proud of? What was challenging about it?

Trenara was one of my first sales, which makes it particularly memorable. The client shared my passion for running, so we clicked right away. We started with a technical challenge: integrating Flutter code into an existing Java and CI/CD structure. Pulling that off successfully felt very rewarding.

I’m also proud of the Honection project. I later learned the client was a well-known footballer — I had no idea at first! It’s great to see our work resonate with people from all kinds of industries.

One of my favorite stories is about the Workout project. At a New Year’s event, I struck up a casual conversation with a couple at the buffet — no business talk at all. We had an amazing two-hour chat. Later, it turned out we swam at the same time every morning. Eventually, they came to me with an idea for a mobile app, and today we’re actually developing it together. I love when spontaneous human connections lead to meaningful collaborations.

What do you enjoy about your work?

The variety, and the inspiring people I get to work with. No two days are the same. I truly enjoy helping people find the right digital solutions. I’m also really happy I transitioned from a role focused on numbers and tech to one that’s more centered on people and business strategy. I love the commercial side of the job and the fact that I’m involved in decisions that make a real impact, like defining marketing strategies or business plans.
