With a Master’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management from HEC Liège, William then completed an internship at AB InBev, where he worked on the digitalization of a process. He later gained his first commercial experience in after-sales service, before joining Deuse in 2025 to continue his career in sales.

Each project requires diving into the context to get it right. I like putting myself in the client’s shoes to understand their challenges and propose the right solution.

To find out more William, here’s some more information about him

What’s your favorite type of project?

Anything related to mobile apps that improve a visitor’s experience—whether it’s for an amusement park, a theme park, or even a venue that hosts different kinds of exhibitions, like an organization such as WEX, for example. I like being able to picture myself in the user’s shoes, putting myself in the client’s place to see exactly what could be improved—sometimes even going on-site to do tests and to better visualize what the client is asking for.

What’s your biggest challenge when selling a project to a client ?

It’s defining a clear and detailed requirements document—basically, a well-defined functional scope. Often, the client has several projects, multiple requests, and lots of ideas in mind. It isn’t always well structured, and it doesn’t necessarily reflect the budget that goes with all those requests. The goal is to help the client set priorities across their different projects—and then, within each project, to clearly shape and frame their vision.

Which project are you most proud to have sold, and what was challenging about it ?

The Coonen Graphics project—simply because we were really challenged on our approach. The challenge was to gradually introduce the digitalization of their process to people who had been working the same way for 15–20 years.

We had to bring in that extra touch to improve Coonen’s internal processes, and on top of that, save real time for the people managing the teams and for those working in the warehouse. The key was making them understand the real added value of the services we offer.

In this case, it was a custom-built ERP, and it’s fascinating to see all the possibilities. You start from a base, but you can really push it to an extremely detailed level.

What do you enjoy about your job ?

I like the variety of projects, because in a single day you can go from one completely different environment to another—for example, spending the morning in a retail store and checkout area to suggest a solution that would improve their organization, and then in the afternoon being in an industrial warehouse to improve communication between different production workshops, for instance.

But what I really enjoy is constantly stepping in, getting straight to the point to gather as much context as possible, understanding the challenges and the goals—most of the time strategic ones—and putting myself in the client’s shoes to respond in the right way.

It’s also the fact that we’re truly involved: not just as a service provider, but as a growth partner on these projects.
